Introductory Business Law CLEP Prep Practice Exam

Tort Law covers the right of individuals to be secure in their persons and property. This branch of law deals with civil wrongdoings and provides compensation to victims for harm caused by others. Common Law and Equity Law generally deal with legal disputes between parties and do not specifically focus on the security of persons and property. Constitutional Law, while it does protect individual rights, primarily deals with the relationship between the government and its citizens, rather than individuals and their personal security.
